We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Supervisor to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our facilities. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across the building, ensuring all systems operate optimally.
Oversee repair work, inspections, and routine servicing of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
Manage projects related to building upgrades or refurbishments, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Monitor and control building safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Lead and supervise a team of technicians and maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for reporting purposes.
Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth operations.
Utilise technical skills such as understanding schematics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Requirements
Proven management or supervisory experience within a facilities or building environment.
Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience is essential for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
Familiarity with schematics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and maintenance procedures.
Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and the ability to motivate a team.
Prior experience supervising maintenance staff or technicians is highly desirable.
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
