Key Responsibilities
As a Building Surveyor with Bolton at Home, you will:
Provide professional, technical and advisory support on repairs, maintenance, development and alterations across our housing stock.
Manage construction projects from inception through to completion, including budgets, contracts and operational delivery.
Conduct pre-, on-site and post-inspection surveys to identify and resolve defects or disrepair.
Produce CAD drawings, schedules of work and tender documents, using JCT and other standard contract forms.
Prepare cost estimates, analyse tenders, and oversee valuations, certificates and contract variations.
Work alongside procurement colleagues to source and manage contractors, goods and services.
Ensure Health & Safety and CDM (2015) compliance, preparing safety plans, risk assessments and safety files.
Collaborate with customers, colleagues and external partners to develop and deliver complex schemes and programmes.
Champion equality, diversity and inclusion in all decisions and use inclusive language consistently.
Share learning from health and safety issues to improve future practice.
