Herrco Cosmetics are recruiting for a Bulk Production Pre-Weigh Operative to work in our Bulk Production department, responsible for pre-weighing and/or producing product(s) to the specific set methods, whilst following the highest quality standards. You will achieve optimum output and efficiencies to a set time scale whilst always abiding by housekeeping, protocols and company rules as well as following H&S practices/regulations

The shift pattern is: 06:00 - 15:00 & 13:00 - 22:00 weekly rotation, 41.25 hours per week

Responsibilities

Ensuring all required PPE, Health and Safety Rules and Regulations are adhered to. Ensuring all Company's Policies and Procedures are being followed at all times and understands safety regulations Achieve optimum output and efficiencies. Ensure assembly of Pre- Weighed goods is to the specification and quality standards Maintain good housekeeping at all times within your area Helping in other areas to ensure high standards are maintained Communicate daily and directly to your supervisor/manager in order to understand operational targets. Communicate any operational shortfalls immediately and directly to your manager and ensuring that any equipment faults or failures are highlighted immediately to your supervisor/manager Adapt to any job given by your supervisor or manager. Always arrive on site in plenty of time to start your role within the company

Requirements

Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment is desirable A strong understanding of metrics Excellent literacy and numeracy skills Attention to detail is essential Ability to work with computerised scanners Ability to work as a part of a team as well as be self - motivated A "Can do ,Will do" attitude
