Summary

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Business Administration Apprentice to join our friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to begin a career in the logistics and transport sector.

You'll gain valuable hands-on experience working in a regulated environment, learning how to coordinate transport operations, maintain compliance documentation, and support our drivers and customers while working towards a recognised qualification.

Responsibilities

Support with the preparation and distribution of transport documentation, such as delivery notes and ADR paperwork. Communicate with drivers, customers, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely delivery information. Assist with booking vehicle maintenance, MOTs, and safety inspections. Ensure compliance with ADR, health & safety, and environmental regulations in all administrative tasks. Provide general office support, including filing, data entry, and responding to telephone and email enquiries in a clear, professional & timely manner.

Skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational and time management skills. Good written and verbal communication. Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). A proactive approach with a willingness to learn. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Interest in logistics, transport, or chemical operations.

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Pay: 7.55 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
