CLdN Ports wish to recruit a Business Administration Apprentice to provide support to our Vehicle Movements department within the CLdN Group. The successful candidate will be enrolled onto the Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship and will receive full support from the organisation throughout the 18-month training programme. The ideal candidate will have a flexible, professional and pro-active approach to work.

Your role



Primarily responsible for assisting in all administration and documentation tasks within the vehicle movements department, to include the following:

Complete the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship within the 18-month duration. Support coordinating with carriers, for load requests and changes to loads. Assist with housekeeping with pulling crews. Learn to organise site scans. Learn to undertake printing of loads in priority order for car teams to build, checking on the system that loads are complete. Assist with organising gate releases, damage reporting on a daily basis, informing necessary parties for claims and all associated filling of paperwork. Learn to undertake daily stock reporting and distribution. Assist with compiling weekly damage reporting and distribution. Assist with the organisation and collection of vehicles that need recovery with assigned repairers. Support with day to day general enquiries from customers, dealers, car carriers and drivers. Assisting with ship files. Assist with printing out PDI sheets, processing after checks are completed and returned. Learn to produce reports as requested. Support the Training Dept, coordinating/attending events, assisting with recording/sourcing training, emails, and digital account monitoring. Supporting other managers and supervisors with administrative tasks will also be a requirement. Ensure that all Company policies and procedures are followed, and a positive image of the Company maintained.

Your profile



It is important that you have a good work ethic and good organisational skills You will hold GCSE level 4 or functional skills Level 2 in Math's and English (or equivalent) Have good written and verbal communication skills Be a self-motivated individual Excellent IT skills are required, including a good working knowledge of MS Office Have high attention to detail Good timekeeping is essential The ability to prioritise workload whilst working to tight timescales in accordance with company policies is important You must be able to work within a team. A flexible approach to work is necessary Willing to undertake any duties that may arise to contribute to the day-to-day running of department Hold a Full UK driving licence and a valid Passport.
