The Role - Business Administrator



We are looking to appoint a Business Administrator to help the business grow and maintain its client base. The role involves:

Monthly Payroll -

Process and submit payroll, including pension contributions via Smart Pensions and submission to HMRC

VAT Returns -

Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and arrange payment.

Weekly Payment Run -

Pay outstanding invoices on a weekly basis (Friday payment run).

Invoicing -

Raise and send invoices to clients.

Receipt Checking -

Review and reconcile receipts.

QuickBooks

Management -

Match payments to bank transactions in QuickBooks.

Insurance -

Arrange annual business and van insurance.

Business Rates -

Coordinate with the council regarding business rates (monthly arrangement in place).

Database Management -

Manage databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

Attention to Detail -

Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills to ensure accuracy in all tasks.

Course Registration -

Register training courses and trainers with JAUPT/DVSA annually.

DCPC Course Management -

Weekly registration of DCPC courses, upload to DVSA, and maintain internal records.

Client and Trainer Liaison -

Manage client bookings and coordinate with trainers.

FORS Administration -

Upload FORS course details to the FORS portal and manage annual registration.

Course Materials -

Prepare course packs, produce certificates and letters for delegates.

CILT Coordination -

Enroll learners with CILT, register exams, and liaise on qualifications and compliance.

Exam Management -

Register delegates, receive and manage exam materials and invigilate examinations

General Office Management -

manage correspondence, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and provide general support.

Requirements



GCSE A-C in English and Math (or equivalent) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Previous administrative experience You will be required to attend the office in semi-rural location, having your own transport is preferable.

Hours: Full time 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday Salary: 35,000
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00 per year
