What You'll Do
Own the busy support inbox & phone line, resolving queries within SLA
Run day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero--post invoices, reconcile bank feeds, process payroll, and prep VAT returns with our external accountant.
Build weekly KPI dashboards in Excel or Looker Studio so directors see issues before they snowball
Serve as the administrative backbone--create, update, and organise shared docs (price lists, SOPs, policies, supplier files)
Jump into projects--Marketplace onboarding, new product launches, peak-season planning
Must-Haves
2+ years' office administration or operations-support experience
Working knowledge of bookkeeping plus hands-on use of Xero, QuickBooks or similar accounting software (training provided for the right candidate)
Fluent in Excel/Google Sheets skills, including importing/exporting data via CSV
Calm, friendly phone manner--about 30-40 calls a day in peak season
Proven knack for spotting and fixing process snags (give us an example at interview!)
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with Zendesk, HubSpot or another CRM
Familiarity with inventory / stock-management software
Background in e-commerce, wholesale or logistics
Basic payroll and HR administration
Building automation using tools like Zapier and Make.com
An interest in gardening or sustainability (you'll fit right in!)
