We are an independent psychology practice with locations in Harrogate, Huddersfield, Devon, and Dublin, specialising in neurodevelopmental assessments and emotional wellbeing therapeutic services for children, young adults, adults, and families. Our team also undertakes expert witness assessments. We proudly hold NHS contracts, providing combined neurodevelopmental assessments on behalf of NHS Trusts, which allows us to serve both NHS and privately referred clients.



We are seeking a Business Administrator to support the daily operations of our private practice in Harrogate, assisting a team of clinicians and ensuring the efficient delivery of administration tasks related to our NHS contracts and services. This role is full-time, comprising 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, and is available for immediate start for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities



The successful candidate will undertake a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

Managing appointment and operation bookings Overseeing diary management Liaising with referrers, patients, and clinicians Liaising with NHS contacts Developing and managing databases Communicating with insurers regarding payments and treatment authorisations Processing card payments from patients once systems are implemented Handling letter processing Managing incoming and outgoing paper and electronic correspondence Responding to incoming calls and emails Monitoring key service delivery databases, such as referrals and assessment records, to ensure smooth service delivery Ensuring compliance with GDPR, confidentiality, and information governance at all times

Candidate Requirements



To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

A solid understanding of patient confidentiality Proficient knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Experience with patient notes and CRM systems A collaborative team spirit, with the ability to work autonomously Strong capacity to thrive under pressure in a busy environment Excellent time management skills A systematic and efficient approach to tasks Essential customer service experience A positive 'can-do' attitude

Additional Information



Holidays:

28 days per year, plus bank holidays (based on a 5-day work week), with an additional day off to celebrate your birthday.
