Business Coordinator



Location: Lincoln, United Kingdom (on site)

Are you an organised and proactive Business Administrator with a passion for supporting operational excellence? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Operations and Services team. You will play a key role in supporting the effective and efficient delivery of SRC UK's operations and business-as-usual activities

Responsibilities:



Drafting and distributing internal communications, newsletters and updates. Manage internal business information to ensure accuracy and currency for leadership use (e.g. workforce statistics). Support coordination and administration of ISO-related activities. Support Facilities Management by escorting contractors, maintaining asset records, assisting with general upkeep, and covering reception duties as needed. Supporting finance with processing purchase orders, invoices, expense claims, and purchasing. Monitor bid portals, capture and filter opportunities, and coordinate with the Delivery team. Provide administrative support to a wide range of business areas. Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of business processes, policies and procedures. Act as point of contact for organisational engagement with strategic initiatives (e.g. The 5% Club, Armed Forces Covenant). Undertake additional activities as required by the Business Coordinator and wider Operations team.

Essential Skills / Experience:



Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools. Experience of meeting coordination, scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute taking. Good understanding of basic financial management processes. Good understanding of basic HR principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to prioritise tasks with a high attention to detail. Exceptional time management skills. High level of discretion and professionalism.

Desirable:



Basic awareness of ISO principles. Awareness of the Defence sector. Understanding of bid management. Proactive approach to problem anticipation and resolution. Strong desire to learn and adapt within a fast - paced work environment.
