The Role:
We are recruiting a Business Administrator to work as part of the Scrap Car Network team on our site in Longridge, Preston. Reporting to the Head of Raw2k & SCN, you will take responsibility for all general administration duties within the team and support with ad-hoc duties as required. This is an exciting opportunity to join us in a period of significant change and be part of the next chapter in this well-established Recycling Business.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering day-to-day office support to keep things running smoothly across both Rawk2k and Scrap Car Network
Providing friendly and professional support to both customers and team members
Handling client interactions confidently, whether face-to-face or over the phone
Assisting with a range of general administrative tasks across both Rawk2k and Scrap Car Network departments
Gathering, inputting, and managing company data with accuracy and attention to detail
Supporting with finance-related tasks, including basic invoicing and data entry
The successful candidate:
An experienced administrator with excellent Microsoft package knowledge and customer service experience, used to working in a fast paced environment.
Essential Skills:
Excellent administrative skills with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Confident verbal and written communication skills, including a professional telephone manner
Ability to collate, analyse, and manage data accurately
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
A good understanding of customer needs and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
A positive, team-oriented attitude with a professional approach at all times
The ability to manage tasks effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
A sound understanding of business correspondence and report preparation
Qualifications in Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent)
