We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Business Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and managing various clerical tasks. This position requires strong computer skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
This role would suit an experienced administrator, or a highly organised apprentice looking to gain sector specific qualifications and further development. This role will also take on administration tasks to support the people professional function, further Learning and Development is fully supported by our organisation to achieve this.
Duties
Manage daily administrative tasks, including data entry and maintaining accurate records.
Utilise Google Suite for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Handle phone communications with professionalism and courtesy, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
Ensuring financial records are up to date.
Organise office supplies and equipment, maintaining an efficient workspace.
Support team members with clerical duties as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Prepare reports and presentations as required by management.
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is desirable
Proficiency in Google Suite applications is required; familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to type accurately and efficiently for data entry purposes.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen attention to detail are essential traits for success in this role.
