Overview


We are looking for a highly organised and proactive

Business Administrator

to support the day-to-day operations of our aluminium glazing business. This role is key to keeping our office running smoothly and ensuring excellent communication between customers, the production team and our partners.

You will handle incoming calls and emails, greet visitors, prepare paperwork, manage office supplies, support delivery scheduling, send pro formas via Xero, update our CRM/job tracker and provide after-sales follow-up. You'll also help track complaints, back orders and general workflow to ensure nothing is missed.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, great communication skills and the ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment. Experience in construction, manufacturing or a trade-based business is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities



Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and document management Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately Maintain organised records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications Assist with invoicing and bookkeeping using Xero or similar accounting software Support scheduling meetings, appointments, and maintaining calendars for team members Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations as required Ensure the office environment remains tidy and well-organised Support other administrative functions as needed to facilitate operational efficiency

Experience



Proven office experience or administrative background is preferred Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is advantageous Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Demonstrated clerical experience including data entry and record keeping Good communication skills with professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation
