Location: Ulverston



We are a two-minute walk from Ulverston train station which offers great transport links from within Cumbria and Lancashire.



Hours: 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri (part-time considered) Benefits: Flexible working arrangements including lunchtime finish on Fridays, 24 days holidays per year plus Bank Holidays, holiday buyback option, profit share scheme, free parking, cycle to work scheme, bike storage and shower facilities.

The Role

As our Business Administrator, your responsibilities will include:



Providing general administrative support to our busy commercial team,

Effective and timely inputting, dispatching, and invoicing of customer orders,

Processing of internal purchase/sample requests,

Updating databases and preparing reports,

Making and answering calls to/from customers and suppliers and dealing with post and emails in a friendly, positive manner,

Ordering and maintaining our office supplies.

Business Administrator

What we are looking for in the successful candidate:

Enthusiastic and well-organised, with a professional & positive telephone manner,

Literate and numerate with good attention to detail,

5+ GCSEs at A*- C or equivalent (including Maths, English Language, and a Science) and a minimum of two A Levels or commensurate experience or qualifications,

A good level of IT skills especially Microsoft Office and Excel,

Confident, proactive and able to prioritise workload and operate on own initiative,

Good communication skills and happy to learn new skills,

Experience of working in a busy office preferred.
