About the role:



We are seeking an individual to join our Business Information Systems team on a 6-month fixed term basis as a Business Analyst to support the upgrade of the firm's Practice Management System (PMS).


This role involves working closely with stakeholders across legal and business services teams to understand current processes, help identify improvement opportunities and ensure that both business and technical requirements are accurately captured and documented.


The Analyst will be responsible for documenting existing workflows and integrations, aiding testing and production of training material where appropriate to support the delivery of a modernized PMS system.


About you:



We're seeking a proactive and detail-driven Business Analyst with a strong track record of delivering IT system upgrades. You'll bring excellent documentation skills, including process mapping, and be confident using tools such as Visio, Excel, and Project or similar platforms.


Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively--both verbally and in writing--will enable you to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike. In this role, you'll thrive on managing priorities with precision, and your collaborative approach will be key to working across the organisation.


Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the initiative to work independently and contribute effectively within a team.


Advantageous



Experience of working in a professional services environment Knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, and business operations. Experience working with Practice Management systems.
