Business Analyst (cctv)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to work closely with Product and Engineering teams across a CCTV and in store technology landscape. This role sits at the intersection of physical retail, infrastructure platforms and digital product delivery, supporting the evolution of CCTV and edge based solutions across a large retail estate.

You will operate as a standard but senior Business Analyst, with a strong bias towards clarity, structure and delivery, partnering with a Product Manager and multiple engineering teams to translate business needs into well defined, actionable outcomes.

Requirements



Key responsibilities



Partner closely with the Product Manager to shape and deliver the product roadmap for CCTV and related in store technology platforms Lead discovery and analysis across business, technology, security and operational stakeholders Produce high quality documentation including problem statements, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting artefacts Own and maintain end to end business process mapping, covering both current state and future state workflows Act as a bridge between physical retail operations and technology teams, ensuring solutions are pragmatic and fit for purpose Proactively identify gaps, risks and dependencies across systems, infrastructure and operational processes Support delivery teams throughout the lifecycle, from early discovery through to implementation and rollout Work confidently with third parties, vendors and internal teams where required

Experience and background



Proven experience working as a Senior Business Analyst in complex technology environments Strong experience supporting Product Managers in product led teams Hands on experience with CCTV systems or closely related physical security or in store technology platforms Good understanding of infrastructure led solutions, including on premises, hybrid and cloud based models Experience working with hardware and software running at the edge in a retail environment Comfortable analysing and documenting systems that combine hardware, networking, software and operational processes Experience working in large scale retail or similarly complex operational environments is strongly preferred
