Business Analyst - Credit Risk

A leading global bank are in in search of a Business Analyst for their Enterprise Risk Technology Team. The team you will join is responsible for managing exposure to financial institutions, governments, corporates, and retail clients. By building and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions, you will play a key role in mitigating credit risk, computing Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Business Analyst Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders from Risk Technology, Counterparty Risk Management, Finance, Front Office, and Market Regulators to gather and analyze business requirements for Risk Technology projects.
• Translate EMEA regulatory reporting requirements into clear and actionable functional specifications.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate effective solutions for complex problems.
• Project manage end-to-end Risk projects, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of milestones.
• Develop system and process representations as needed to enhance understanding and communication.
• Facilitate productive project meetings involving both business and technology teams.
• Collaborate with business users and technology teams to develop and review test scripts for System, User, and Impact testing.
• Conduct thorough investigations into Potential Future Exposure (PFE), EAD, RWA, and related calculations.
• Track changes in day-to-day exposures, considering market, book, and legal agreement modifications.

Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated expertise in Business Analysis and Project Management within the Capital Markets domain.
• Previous experience as a business analyst with a primary focus on regulatory reporting.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development quality practices.
• Excellent knowledge of derivatives products, including Options, Futures, Forwards, and Swaps, and their lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Securities Financing Transactions (SFT) products is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), Counterparty Credit Risk, Potential Future Exposure (PFE), Margin, Collateral Haircut, Liquidity, and Settlement Risk.
• Familiarity with Basel III/IV and other relevant Risk Regulations and measures.
• Knowledge of Market Risk, including Credit Value Adjustment (CVA) and Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB).
• Extensive project management experience, including coordination across remote global teams.Familiarity with Credit and Market Risk domains, agile methodologies, and iterative development cycles.
