Responsibilities

Analyse complex data sets using SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI to identify trends and insights that inform business strategies. Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Support financial planning activities by preparing detailed financial models and forecasts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. Present findings clearly through Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to stakeholders at various levels of the organisation. Assist in process optimisation initiatives by analysing current workflows and recommending improvements. Maintain accurate documentation of analysis procedures, findings, and recommendations. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding of complex data insights.

Requirements

Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Strong skills in Power BI for creating interactive visualisations and reports. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools. Experience with financial planning, budgeting, or forecasting processes. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret large datasets accurately. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Outlook. Knowledge of accounting principles is desirable but not essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within an IT-enabled environment. Organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple projects efficiently.
