Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through rigorous testing and analysis. This position requires a strong understanding of data analysis, database design, and project management, as well as proficiency in various tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Visio. Responsibilities

Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements. Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle. Utilise SQL to query databases for testing purposes and validate data integrity. Create visual reports using Power BI to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Document defects and track their resolution using appropriate tools. Assist in database design efforts to enhance data quality and accessibility. Employ Visio for process mapping and workflow documentation. Participate in project management activities to ensure timely delivery of quality assurance tasks.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role. Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL for database querying. Familiarity with database design principles is advantageous. Experience with Power BI for reporting purposes is desirable. Knowledge of Visio for process mapping is a plus. Proficiency in VBA for automation tasks would be beneficial. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Ability to vaticinate potential issues before they manifest into larger problems.
