An exciting opportunity has risen within Evening and Overnight District Nursing /Out of Hours Community Nursing Call handling service.
The successful candidate will provide line management of the call handling team and work closely with the Community Manager and Community Nursing Lead to ensure a smooth running of services.
The successful candidate will also provide administration oversight , management of equipment , pool cars and provide business and project support to the management team and wider service. This will involve taking responsibility for navigating multiple systems to assist in the daily running of the service, and the use of business intelligence to support service improvements and governance requirements. These initiatives will require a high level of planning, negotiating, analytical and communication skills.
The successful candidate will be required to work in an integrated way with the Integrated Community Teams, Integrated Urgent Care Service and Patient flow team. The role will support ongoing projects and continually develop within a changing health economy and as such may be subject to some change during the development phase.
Main duties of the job
This post holder will be responsible for the line management of the Out of Hours (OOH) Call handling team and Evening and Overnight District Nursing Administration team in line with the trusts policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate good attention to detail, a working knowledge of clinical systems (SystmOne), rostering software and ESR with the ability to analyse and present information from a variety of sources and data reports. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to forge strong, trusting and productive relationships with colleagues inside and outside the organisation. You will be expected to have be flexible, self-driven and adaptable, prioritising the demands of a busy workload in a changing environment.
