Your role
Kinder-Janes Engineers Ltd are the UK Customer Centre for the newly formed Atlas Copco Industrial Flow Division. We specialise in Pumps, Compressors and Process Equipment, representing both Atlas Copco brands such as Lewa and Varisco, plus many other leading manufacturers, to offer our customers wide range of complimentary product.
As a Business Controller, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, steering the organization's accounting functions and empowering strategic financial decisions through precise and timely reporting. You will report directly to the General Manager and will be part of the Management team. You'll contribute significantly to our overall success.
You have a key role in helping to steer the company towards sustainable and profitable growth, by providing financial performance transparency and guidance on how to improve it to all departments.
You will

• Lead the Finance department responsibility
• Provide support and guidance to the different functional areas from a financial performance perspective
• Financial reporting P&L, WC and BS according to "The Way We Do Things" and divisional guidelines
• Lead annual Target setting and regular forecast updates for P&L, Balance Sheet, Capital Expenditure
• Forecast business performance vs annual target
• Management of cash flow, tax, insurances, company bank accounts and credit cards, payments, etc
• AR reporting and follow up with other departments, ensuring proper actions are in place to meet our targets
• Credit rating and control
• Optimization and implementation of processes across the different finance activities
• Develop and maintain planning and budgeting systems
• With the support of your team, manage finance related audits
• Communicating and cooperating with colleagues across all areas of the business to support efficiency and effectiveness, contributing to a shared sense of team working and professionalism.

Experience Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant with several years of experience in finance and/or business control.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional business control and support services.
- Capability to lead projects within the realm of business control.
- Familiarity with Group accounting principles, IFRS, and local statutory regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of SAP Business One is an advantage.
Educational Requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Familiarity with Atlas Copco's The Way We Do Things is beneficial.
Personality Requirements:
- Business-oriented with effective communication skills to engage with internal customers and colleagues across all levels.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Kinder-Janes Engineers Ltd location in Hertfordshire, England.
Only Local Plus conditions will be offered for internal candidates.
