About the job

The Business Controller is a strategic finance partner responsible for driving financial performance through robust reporting, forecasting, and analysis. This role ensures accurate tracking and optimisation of working capital, including CAPEX, inventories, write-offs, fixed assets, and free cash flow. It also supports intercompany reporting alignment and balance sheet integrity, while challenging the business to deliver cost-saving initiatives and transparently report progress.

Leadership Competencies:

Functional Competencies:

Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) or towards the end of the exams. Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP). Financial planning and analysis. Data integrity and systems management Business partnering and stakeholder engagement Strong command of ERP and BI tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI)

CODES Focus: Deliver business results, act with agility, and empower & develop people

Critical experience required

Proven experience in a similar role within a matrixed or multinational environment Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional activities Strong track record of meeting reporting deadlines and ensuring data accuracy Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools Exposure to audit processes and internal control frameworks
