Job Description

We require a law graduate with experience of contract law to support the business with a range of tasks such as contract law coordinator managing all of the company's contracts alongside other business/personal duties as requested. They will keep track of all of the businesses existing agreements and ensure that these agreements are properly documented and ensure alternative and competitive quotes are sourced for comparison in plenty of time.

They will manage the hard copy of the contracts, update records, and review contracts to ensure that the best deals are made for the company and highlight any risks and provide recommendations for any clauses that should be changed to favour the business.

They will work alongside purchasing on contracts, ad hoc business tasks and provide PA support for business owner and MD. They should be positive, tenacious and enthusiastic and have the ability to problem solve and work on their own initiative and recommend solutions to any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate and negotiate commercial contracts and negotiate from beginning to end.

Liaise with management and ensure contract terms and conditions are met

. Search for an recommend alternative and competitive providers

Negotiate, draft, and revise commercial contracts.

Analyse and interpret legal documents and provide advice on potential contractual issues.

Monitor and report on the performance of existing contracts.

Identify and manage potential risks associated with agreements.

Participate in contract review and approval processes.

Maintain accurate records of all contract negotiations.

Assist with other department queries and tasks including, but not limited to, warranty claims, tax narrative work, admin, and legal advice.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in law or a related field is essential. Proven experience negotiating and managing contracts. In-depth knowledge of contract law, commercial practices, and the regulatory environment. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
