Salary: 30,000 base + uncapped commission (OTE 60,000+)
Reports to: Head of Sales

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Business Development Manager who will not only win new clients but also manage and nurture their accounts for long-term success.

The Role
This is a dual role covering both new business development and account management. You will be responsible for converting high-quality inbound leads, generating your own opportunities, and then managing those clients once they have joined ShopWired. You will act as their main point of contact, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and growth with the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Convert inbound leads into paying customers through discovery calls, product demonstrations, and tailored proposals Generate your own pipeline of prospects through outbound outreach (LinkedIn, calls, emails, networking) Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities to achieve and exceed monthly targets Act as account manager for your own clients, maintaining strong relationships post-sale Provide onboarding support and guidance to new clients where needed Proactively check in with clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities Ensure client satisfaction, retention, and long-term value from ShopWired Keep CRM accurate with pipeline, forecasts, and account notes
Skills & Experience

Proven track record in B2B sales or business development, ideally in SaaS or digital solutions Must have experience in eCommerce platforms such as ShopWired, Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento or similar Strong experience in relationship management or account management Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Target-driven, resilient, and motivated by results Organised and able to manage both sales pipeline and client accounts effectively Comfortable working remotely with the discipline to self-manage
