Job Description

Our client, an active investment manager offering a range of funds and investment trusts, as well as a portfolio management service, covering equity, fixed income, multi asset and absolute return investment strategies is seeking a Business Development Administrator to support a busy Distribution Team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. The role will be based in their City of London office, but our client operates a hybrid working model (3 days in the office and 2 remote).

Roles & Responsibilities

In conjunction with another Business Development Administrator, provide essential administrative and operational support to the Distribution Team of 6. Maintain and manage the Salesforce CRM, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting. Coordinate client, fund, and product information requests from IFAs, wealth managers, and retail clients. Produce regular reports and analysis using tools such as Power BI, Financial Clarity, and FE Analytics. Support internal and external meetings -- from scheduling and minute-taking to follow-ups. Organise travel, accommodation, and event logistics for the team. Assist in planning and executing client events, ensuring compliance and smooth delivery. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver first-class service.

Experience & Qualifications

Experience in client services, sales support or as a PA/Executive Assistant, ideally within Fund Management, Wealth Management, or financial services. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Confident using Microsoft Office, Excel, and CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus). A strong team player with a positive attitude and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
