Business Development Associate

The Role

We are seeking Business Development Associates, with strong social skills, hardworking, and an interest in the art market.

This is an excellent opportunity for people with either foundational sales experience, or an interest in developing their sales skills, in a creative and dynamic environment. You'll be responsible for driving sales growth while providing exceptional customer service to art enthusiasts and collectors.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new sales opportunities and maintain relationships with existing customers Present and promote our products and services to potential buyers Provide expert customer service and support throughout the sales process Support our customer care team with inquiries and service requests Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and business objectives Producing comprehensive reports to assess sales performance, learnings, and business growth - to optimise and streamline operational processes. Collaborating with the management team to establish and track monthly sales targets based on business and external opportunities

Confident and articulate communication skills Natural ability to build rapport and connect with diverse customers Strong customer service orientation with problem-solving skills Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and as part of a team Empathetic and attentive, skilled at listening and building trust-based relationships
Desirable (but not essential):

Interest in or appreciation for art and creative industries Experience in retail or gallery environments Additional language skills
