We're now looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Business Development Associate to join our Sales team at our Kirby Street HQ. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and contributing to the growth of a business that's transforming how security services are delivered.



The BDA is a key player in TKC's sales team, responsible for generating new business and guiding clients through their buying journey. Acting as the first point of contact for prospective customers, you'll blend consultative selling with genuine relationship building.





You'll provide timely, value driven quotations and work with service partners to find the best solutions, keeping our CRM tool HubSpot up to date so no lead is missed. At the same time, you'll make sure every client feels supported and every interaction reflects TKC's ambition to be the most trusted and innovative partner in our industry.

What you get:



Salary of 30,000 - 35,000 per annum (DOE)

Fulltime, permanent, and flexible working basis (ability to work from home but must have the flexibility to travel into our London Farringdon HQ once a month or as/when required)

What you'll be doing:



Act as the first point of contact for prospective clients, handling inbound enquiries by phone, email, and live chat Build strong relationships with prospects by understanding their needs and matching them to the right services Prepare accurate, timely, and value driven quotations for commercial clients Liaise with service partners to source competitive pricing and solutions for scheduled work Proactively generate new opportunities through outbound campaigns, followups, and market research Keep HubSpot fully up to date with all activity, ensuring no opportunity is missed and data is accurate Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Tech) to ensure a smooth client experience from first contact through to onboarding Take ownership of your personal sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed monthly revenue and conversion targets Deliver excellent customer service throughout the sales process to build trust and longterm relationships Provide cover and support for sales team members during periods of absence or high demand Contribute to sales initiatives, campaigns and special projects as directed by the Sales Manager Share insights from client conversations and market trends to help shape future sales strategies and service improvements

What you'll need to succeed:



1-2 years' experience in sales, business development or a customer facing role Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage multiple opportunities concurrently and to a high standard Strong communication and relationship building skills, with confidence in handling client conversations Organised and detail oriented with excellent time management skills High level of IT literacy, with experience using CRM tools (HubSpot desirable)

Nice to haves

Experience in B2B sales within services, facilities management, or technology led environments Familiarity with the security, risk management or facilities management sectors Exposure to working with service delivery or operational teams on client projects
