An exciting new opportunity to join the team in Birmingham City Centre as a Business Development Consultant.
To provide proactive telesales marketing to create leads and gather market / sales data and generate appointments for the Business Development team with decision-makers and influencers within targeted markets for Protocol products: Qualifications, Short Courses, Recruitment, Apprenticeships and Pre-apprenticeships.
Responsibilities and Duties
Business Development Responsibilities;
To provide a proactive telesales to create leads and gather market / sales data
Generate appointments for Business Development Manager with decision-makers and influencers within targeted markets for Protocol products: Qualifications, Recruitment Apprenticeships and Pre-apprenticeships.
Employer engagement (Face to Face Meetings)
Networking
Lead generation from available data including E-marketing
Follow up enquiries and leads to fill sales pipeline
Maintain regular contact with influencers to identify need and create demand for Protocol products and consultancy
Proactively chasing specifications to increase conversion rates
Take an active role in specific sales initiatives & promotional activities and follow up work on the back of these
Record own activities and diarise follow-ups in CRM
Talk to potential customers to prepare the way for external sales to make an appointment
Participate in Sales team meetings
Attend external customer visits and exhibitions from time to time
Complete regular feedback to manager
Work on ESFA Apprenticeship contract
Qualifications and Skills
2 years Business Development experience (Desired but not essential)
IT Literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office

Would support with progression in the role if you hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
Working week
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (some flexibility when attending events, employers out of hours)
