We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving growth across our organisation. The ideal applicant will possess experience in recruitment preferably in both contract and permanent roles and some experience working within the engineering and utilities sectors.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach initiatives.
Develop customised proposals and presentations tailored to prospective clients' needs.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities within CRM system.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their strategic objectives to provide tailored solutions.
Collaborate with our established teams within renewable energy, engineering and IT.
Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth.
Have a flexible approach to hours and travel so you can attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the organisation's services.
Qualifications
Proven experience and track record in recruitment business development.
Proficiency in CRM software is essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders effectively.
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and opportunity identification.
Ability to work over and above and independently whilst contributing as part of a successful, collaborative team environment.
Educated to preferred degree at least A Level.
