What you'll be doing
The Business Development Coordinator with play a vital role in supporting the growth of the business by executing key tasks to drive forward new opportunities business wide. You will assist in identifying new business prospects, maintaining client relationships, and coordinating internal efforts to support business development.
? Building and maintaining relationships with new customers.
? Cross-collaborating with business departments to deliver high levels of customer service.
? Handling other ad hoc administrative duties as required.
? Assist in identifying and researching new opportunities to support the growth of the business.
? Support outreach efforts through cold calls, emails and other methods as required.
? Qualify leads and ensure timely follow-up with prospects.
? Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and sales materials where required.
? Coordinate meetings and proposals when needed for prospective clients.
? Help manage and track client relationships, ensuring consistent communication and follow-up.
? Maintain and update client and prospect databases in CRM systems.
Experience required
?
Minimum 2 years of business development experience
?
High standards of customer service.
?
Technical experience from engineering or distribution industries would be advantageous.
?
Numerate - confident in calculating deductions, costs, and margins.
?
GCSE Maths and English (Grade C / 4-5 or above).
?
Live within 15-20 miles of Hertford.
