Job Overview



We are seeking a commercially astute and ambitious

Business Development Director

with deep knowledge of the

Facilities Management (FM) sector

and a proven ability to drive national growth. This is a senior leadership role requiring both

strategic vision

and a

hands-on approach to building partnerships and revenue streams

for a fast-growing UK business.

You will be responsible for leading national business development initiatives, expanding our network of high-quality FM contractors, securing new accounts and partnerships, and building a scalable commercial structure to support rapid expansion.

Duties



Develop and execute a national business development strategy to drive growth and market share. Identify, pursue, and secure new client opportunities across the UK FM sector. Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key FM companies, property managers, and contractors. Lead contract negotiations, ensuring commercially viable and mutually beneficial agreements. Collaborate with the leadership team to align growth strategy with operational delivery capabilities. Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions. Establish robust reporting structures to track pipeline, revenue, and conversion performance. Represent the business at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings nationwide. Support the ongoing development and positioning of the brand within the FM sector.

Skills



Proven track record of delivering business growth within the FM sector. Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing commercial teams. Excellent negotiation and deal-closing abilities. Deep network of contacts within UK FM and property management markets. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset. Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels. Commercially driven, with the ability to balance growth opportunities and operational feasibility. Proficient in CRM and business intelligence tools to track and drive performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 47,909.20-84,169.81 per year
