We deliver year-round maintenance for residential management and factoring companies, commercial developments, housing estates, hotels, schools, and private clients, known for reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
We're now seeking a motivated
Business Development & Estimating Executive
to help drive the next phase of our growth -- focusing on lead generation, pricing, and tendering.
The Role
This is a hands-on commercial role combining
lead generation, estimating, and bid preparation
.
You'll be responsible for developing new business from both
existing clients
(reactive/additional works) and
new opportunities
(new build developments and commercial sites).
Key responsibilities:
Generate new leads and build relationships with
house builders, developers, hotels, and commercial clients
Proactively identify additional works and opportunities within our
existing client portfolio
Price and estimate works from architects' plans, landscaping layouts, and specifications prior to build
Conduct
site visits
to assess and quote for existing sites and reactive works
Prepare accurate costings, proposals, and tender submissions
Manage a live pipeline of tenders, quotes, and opportunities through to handover
Work with management to develop competitive pricing and growth strategies
What We're Looking For
Background in
sales, estimating, or bid writing
within
grounds maintenance, landscaping, or construction
Proven ability to
generate leads and build lasting client relationships
Strong commercial awareness of labour, material, and operational costs
Ability to
read and interpret architects' drawings and specifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organised, self-motivated, and results-driven
Full UK driving licence essential
Pay & Commission Structure
Basic Salary:
28,000-32,000 (depending on experience)
PLUS Commission:
3% of first-year value on new maintenance contracts
5% of gross profit on one-off landscaping or installation projects
Commission paid quarterly upon client payment
On-Target Earnings:
33,000-40,000+ per year
