Play a key role in delivering fire-safety solutions across the UK
The Role:
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive to generate new business, convert marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) into sales opportunities, and build strong customer relationships. You'll help onboard new clients, re-engage lapsed accounts, and support the smooth handover to our Account Management team.
Key Responsibilities
Contact and engage marketing-generated leads via outbound calls and email campaigns
Convert leads into qualified sales opportunities (SQLs) and drive revenue growth
Book and manage new-business appointments for the National Sales Manager (NSM) and BDMs
Build and maintain strong relationships to maximise customer retention and account growth
Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to meet targets
Maintain a real-time CRM sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and outcomes
Manage onboarding for new and reactivated customers, guiding them through initial sales
Ensure smooth transition of clients to the Account Management team
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management (technical, trade, or distribution sectors preferred)
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills at all levels
Self-motivated, tenacious, and results-oriented mindset
Excellent time-management, organisation, and prioritisation skills
Competent in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook)
Calm, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities
What are we looking for?
Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management (preferably within a technical, trade, or distribution environment).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills and is confident at all levels.
Self-motivated, tenacious, and results-oriented.
Strong time-management and organisational skills.
Competent using CRM systems and MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, HubSpot preferred).
Calm, professional approach and able to handle multiple priorities.
Hybrid Working Details
2 days per week in Caerphilly office
3 days remote/off-site client meetings
Flexibility to travel occasionally to meet clients or attend internal meetings
