upto 42,500 OTE (35,000 + 7,500 Commission)

Hybrid-Caerphilly (2 days office-based, 3 days remote/off-site)

Shift Patterns:

Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30

The Role:


As a Business Development Executive, you'll be instrumental in generating new business opportunities, nurturing customer relationships, and converting marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) into sales opportunities.
You'll help onboard new customers, re-engage lapsed accounts, and ensure a seamless handover to our Account Management team.

What will you do?



Proactively contact and engage marketing-generated leads through outbound calls, converting them into qualified sales opportunities (SQLs) and driving new business growth. Book and manage new-business appointments for the National Sales Manager (NSM) and Business Development Managers (BDMs). Build, nurture, and maintain strong customer relationships to maximise retention and account growth. Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to deliver results. Manage a real-time CRM sales pipeline to track leads, opportunities, and outcomes. Manage new and reactivated (lapsed) customers through their first four sales, ensuring a positive onboarding experience before transitioning them to the Account Management team.

What are we looking for?



Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management (preferably within a technical, trade, or distribution environment). Excellent communication and negotiation skills and is confident at all levels. Self-motivated, tenacious, and results-oriented. Strong time-management and organisational skills. Competent using CRM systems and MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, HubSpot preferred). Calm, professional approach and able to handle multiple priorities.

Hybrid Working Details



This role operates on a hybrid basis, with:

2 days per week based at our Caerphilly head office 3 days per week working from home or attending off-site customer meetings
You'll need to be flexible and able to travel occasionally to meet clients or attend internal meetings as required.
