The Person
You will be a determined self-starter, keen, committed, and able to work using your initiative. A proven winner of new business and comfortable finding your own leads you possess a flair for customer service and satisfaction. A driven individual familiar with the rigors of a sales role and highly motivated to earn commission.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
As an Business Development Executive you will be responsible for the generation and management of sales revenue to contribute to individual and company targets. You will be targeted on number of outgoing calls a day, information sent to clients, number of quotations, revenue targets and general sales KPIs. In addition, you will handle incoming reactive sales calls from potential new customers as well as targeting dormant and lapsed clients.
Research and identify new leads within your designated territory
Make outbound discovery calls to identify opportunities.
Prepare quotations
Confidently explain and suggest different lighting options to clients after learning about our range of LED lighting products and festive decorations.
Use our CRM system to record data, add new leads and manage accounts.
Develop a steady pipeline of opportunities, a percentage of which must close on a regular basis.
Stay in regular contact with existing accounts, upselling where possible.
Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to delivery of product/project.
Required experience / skills:
Minimum of 2 years' continuous telephone sales experience
Proactive, positive attitude and resilient.
Ability to absorb technical product information.
Articulate and confident talking to clients to explain how our products can enhance their space and choosing the right product for the occasion.
Highly motivated to earn commission, tenacious and comfortable working alone and as part of a wider sales team.
Key Information:
This role is a hybrid full-time role, working two days in our Blackburn office and three days at home.
Paid Holiday allowance is 20 days, increasing with service to 25 days plus all Bank holidays. An annual holiday purchase scheme also operates.
Long service awards, pension scheme and birthday day off.
Basic Salary depending on experience 25-30k. OTE 30-38k
