Brentwood



Full-time office and field based.





Salary:

32-35k + commission + Company Car





AEC is looking for its next Business Development Executive to join our sales team. This role would suit a true hunter, someone who will go out there to find business, whether it be by phone, email, social media or face to face. This role would suit someone from a true consultancy background who is used to building long term relationships to gain repeat business from longstanding clients.



What You'll Be Doing



Sales Development: Identify and generate new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients in the field, on the telephone and via web. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or queries. Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, articulating the value proposition of our products/services. Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of company products/services and industry trends to effectively communicate value to clients. (1st class training provided) Territory Management: Manage and prioritise sales activities in your designated territory and cross business markets to meet or exceed sales targets. Reporting & Administration: Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager regarding sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends. Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, leads, and sales opportunities in the CRM system. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing and resources, to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients. Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

We're Looking For Someone Who:



Experience: Ideally, at least 1-2 years of experience in a Business Development role Background: Sales experience within a consultative industry Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to identify customer needs and tailor solutions to meet those needs Self-Motivation: A proactive and goal-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently and take initiative Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a collaborative approach to achieving sales goals Technical Skills: Basic understanding of CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Driving License: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated territory
