Now, we're ready for the next critical step: bringing in a Business Development Executive/Manager to accelerate our growth even further.
We specialise in partnering with technology startups and scale-ups, across the UK, US & Europe to hire top Software Engineering, Product, Data, and Commercial talent. Our model is relationship-driven and quality-focused.
Why This Role Exists:
Right now, the founder (Oli) leads all business development, driving both 360 recruitment and new client acquisition. To push into our next phase of growth, we're looking for someone who can:
Take ownership of business development activity
Bring fresh ideas, new techniques, and a modern perspective
Help diversify how we win business and stay ahead of competitors
Work closely with a fully focused 180 delivery consultant who handles fulfilment
Make a measurable impact on revenue quickly
This isn't a role where you inherit the entire playbook - it's a role where you help write it.
What You'll Do:
Identify and win new clients across our core markets
Develop and execute your own business development strategy with high autonomy
Revive, nurture, and maximise warm leads and existing networks
Build long-term partnerships with founding teams, CTOs, Heads of Talent, and Hiring Managers
Collaborate closely with the founder to align BD strategy with growth goals
Work with our delivery consultant to ensure roles are filled efficiently
Represent the Stockford brand with credibility, insight, and a challenger mindset
What You'll Bring:
Strong experience in business development (recruitment BD preferred)
Ability to open doors and build relationships with decision-makers
Creativity in outbound techniques and a desire to test new methods
Commercial awareness and the confidence to pitch and negotiate
A self-starter mindset - someone who thrives with autonomy
A growth mentality and genuine desire to help a boutique agency scale
