Role Overview
The Sales Executive role will focus on New Business acquisition of net new logo customers, both direct and through our channel partners. This role requires you to own the entire sales process, from qualification to closing.
You will work closely with the Channel Manager in your territory to identify opportunities within our channel partners, as well as managing inbound leads and regular prospecting within your territory.
This is a key role in CT's go-to-market strategy and in achieving our ambitious growth targets to reach 30M turnover by 2030.
Responsibilities
The key duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:
Acquire new logo customers, with a view to building long term mutually beneficial relationships.
Prospect within your assigned territory in line with territory business development plans.
Achievement of individual KPI's along with meeting revenue growth targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Work closely with the Channel Manager in your territory to maximise the quantity and quality of opportunities from our channel partners.
Develop and maintain long term strategic relationships with key channel sales reps.
Maintain a strong relationship with our Account Management team and assist in the smooth transition of the account at the appropriate time.
Regular travel to visit customers, prospects and channel partners face-to-face.
Attend and support appropriate marketing and channel events.
Maintain a broad understanding of the key technology areas and be able to illustrate business advantages for clients through technology investment and other ROI models.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system including client interactions, client details and other relevant information to effectively service clients.
Stay current of cloud and data solution technologies along with industry trends to provide informed recommendations and advice to clients.

The successful candidate should have:
Solid communication skills including verbal, written and active listening. Understanding of sales cycles, pipeline management and sales forecasting.
Understanding of commercials to maintain and grow revenue in line with assigned targets
Building and maintaining effective long-term relationships.
Ability to work effectively and multitask within a busy fast paced office environment.
Customer service skills to effectively and efficiently support clients.
Manage workload effectively to meet client requirements without constant supervision.
Ability to effectively utilise CRM tools to maintain client records, monitor performance and identify whitespace opportunities.
Demonstrate ability to evaluate and balance individual workloads through effective time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
A self-starter who uses initiative to drive results independently and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
The successful candidate must have the following experience:
3+ years' Sales experience, ideally within a technology-based organisation
Location
This role will be primarily based in our head office in Chesterfield, with a mixture of remote working and UK travel to visit partners and customers.
