Business Development Executive
to join our dynamic team. 2025 has been a year of strong growth, and this role is a key hire to support our continued momentum.
The Role
As a
Business Development Executive
, you'll play a crucial role in driving our UK and global expansion. You'll be responsible for identifying and developing new sales channels, while nurturing strategic relationships with key service providers--such as banks, wallet solutions, and liquidity providers.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and understands the intricacies of the fintech and payments landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and partners across financial services, high risk industries and payments sectors.
Develop and maintain relationships with key service providers (banks, wallet solutions, FX and crypto liquidity providers).
Identify new opportunities to grow sales and enhance our product offerings.
Represent Capital Clan at industry networking events, meetups, and exhibitions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, compliance, product) to deliver tailored client solutions.
Stay informed of trends and changes in the fintech, payments, and regulatory environment.
About You
Minimum
2 years of experience
in a
regulated payments business
or
Money Services Business (MSB)
.
Strong knowledge of the fintech ecosystem, including international payments, crypto, and FX.
Demonstrated ability to generate and close sales opportunities.
A core understanding of global Compliance and AML regulations including PSD, MiCA and E-Money.
Fundamental knowledge of KYC and KYB screening including complex structures and ownership. Curious to know more about PEPs, Sanctions and Watchlists.
Confident in engaging with senior stakeholders and navigating complex B2B sales cycles.
Comfortable working autonomously and in a fast-growing, distributed team.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel for events and networking opportunities.
