This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a desire to begin a sales role, or someone who has worked in internal sales but is looking to progress their career to an external sales role in the future. This role is a vital cog in the sales team and is responsible to locate and track down opportunities, network with different influencers and customer types to create quotable opportunities of the complete portfolio.
The successful candidate will work within the fast paced and enthusiastic sales and business development team. Your primary role is to increase the chances of success on all projects by keeping a track of quotes and opportunities that have not been secured by a contractor using our CRM system. Day to day activity includes calling contacts, building rapport and updating the system with project updates accordingly. In addition to this task it would be to conduct telesales activities to new or "gone-away" customers. The main head-office is in Gloucester, but there is a North-based office in Leicester and Wigan which the successful candidate could be based from should they be based in this area.
Principle Responsibilities/Duties
Follow-up quotes on the CRM system
Proactive calls to existing or new customers
Adding where necessary key data to the CRM
Booking of CPD's with contractor/ consultants and follow-up
Give technical advice to customers and internal stakeholders
