We have an exciting opportunity to join a family-owned business as a Business Development Executive. This role is ideal for a confident, motivated individual with a strong "can-do" attitude who thrives on winning new customers.
At Sovereign Print we manufacture printed signs, labels and tags. Focusing on higher quality, durable products to suit specific environments, for example, Tool & Plant Hire Trade, Print Trade and Fire & Security Trade etc.
You will be responsible for generating new business through outbound telephone calls, emails, and by booking high-quality appointments for our sales representatives. With ambition and a drive to succeed, you will be rewarded with a competitive bonus scheme based on achieving agreed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sell high-quality printed products across a range of industries
Generate new leads through outbound prospecting and cold calling
Nurture and upsell to existing customers to maximise revenue
Arrange product samples to be sent to prospects and follow up accordingly
Handle inbound enquiries and action appropriately
Maintain a high level of outbound activity, focusing on meaningful, quality conversations
Update and maintain accurate CRM records
Participate in regular reporting, team huddles, and contribute ideas for new revenue opportunities
About You:
Passionate about connecting with people and building long-term customer relationships
Confident in managing your own outbound activity, including structured follow-up
Able to listen carefully to customer needs and adapt conversations accordingly
Proactive, persistent, and resilient, with a strong desire to achieve results
Skilled at creating persuasive, clear, and concise outbound messages
Previous experience in telesales necessary
