Set within 105 acres of protected wetlands in Barnes, the WWT London Wetland Centre offers a peaceful, nature rich backdrop for conferences, away days, private dinners, team retreats, and celebrations. Our commercial success supports conservation and environmental education across the UK.



What you'll be doing...

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to drive conference and event sales at the Wetland Centre. This role focuses on proactive business generation, nurturing client relationships, and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.

You will be responsible for showcasing this unique venue to corporate, charity, and private event buyers, positioning it as London's leading nature-led event destination.

Generate new business through proactive outreach, networking, and market development Respond to and convert inbound enquiries into confirmed event bookings Conduct venue tours and sales presentations Develop strong relationships with corporate bookers, agencies, local businesses & community organisations Attend industry events and networking opportunities to raise venue awareness Manage CRM pipeline and provide sales reporting Work closely with on-site operations and catering teams to ensure seamless event delivery Achieve and exceed agreed revenue and activity targets

Working Pattern:

Monday - Friday

Proven experience in venue, events, hospitality, or hotel sales Strong relationship building and negotiation skills Confident presenter with excellent written and verbal communication Highly proactive, self-driven, target oriented Experience managing a sales pipeline
