Partnerships Coordinator (Entry/Mid Level Business Development Manager)
About Rock
We're a specialist physical security company, ACS accredited for Close Protection and Door Supervision, trusted across media, film & music, UHNWIs, high-value residential, luxury retail, and complex corporate environments.
Rock is growing fast. We don't win through mass marketing or generic outbound activities. We win because the right people know us, trust us, and we have strong working relationships. We're building a commercial team that understands influence, reputation, and momentum -- and we're serious about results.
The role (read this carefully -- it's not a typical BDM role!)
We're hiring a Partnerships Coordinator to actively generate commercial opportunities through relationships, presence, and intelligent outreach.
This is not a passive brand role.
This is not inbox-driven sales.
And it's definitely not a "wait for marketing to deliver leads" job.
You will be expected to open doors, start conversations from scratch, leverage your network, and put Rock in front of the right decision-makers -- consistently.
Your success will be measured by qualified leads, meaningful introductions, and revenue impact.
What you'll actually do
Proactively generate leads through your personal network, industry connections, and targeted introductions.
Get Rock into the right rooms: industry events, private gatherings, partner sessions, and decision-maker environments.
Create sharp, on-brand content (short video, posts, thought leadership) that supports credibility and starts conversations.
Design and execute high-impact partnership activity -- from intimate events to smart collaborations that open commercial doors.
Build and maintain a warm, live pipeline of conversations for the commercial team -- with clear follow-through and accountability.
Support case studies and proof points that demonstrate why Rock is trusted at the top end of the market.
Track ROI on events, partnerships, and activity -- and double down on what converts.
This role rewards people who make things happen, not people who stay busy.
You'll thrive here if you...
Are commercially hungry and motivated by outcomes.
Are a natural connector with the confidence to approach senior people and turn it into a real conversation.
Understand how to read rooms, manage tone, and represent a premium brand properly.
Are comfortable being accountable for lead quality, momentum, and conversion.
Bring ideas and execution -- you finish what you start.
Value relationships over volume but never confuse that with being passive.
If you're uncomfortable initiating conversations, chasing momentum, or being judged on impact -- this won't be the right fit.
What we offer
Minimum 35k base salary - but fully open to negotiation if you can demonstrate ROI value, hunger and passion
Uncapped, better-than-market commission paid on qualified leads that convert
Direct access to an experienced leadership team
Fast-track progression for people who deliver
A platform to shape a high-growth brand that genuinely does things differently
Location & working pattern
London HQ with UK travel for events and meetings
Full-time role (40 hours)
Flexibility required for evening networking and events
How to apply (important - applications will not be accepted without the following)
Send your application via Indeed
Record a 60-second video explaining what you'd do in your first 90 days to grow Rock's profile and partnerships - this will be requested before acceptance to interview stage
No production polish needed -- we're looking for clarity, confidence, and commercial thinking.
