The Opportunity
We are seeking Business Development Executives to join our commercial team and help expand the reach and impact of the Network.
You will primarily focus on sponsorship and partnership opportunities, working with a mix of incoming enquiries, warm leads from our engaged community, and targeted outreach to organisations that should be part of the Network but aren't yet.
This role suits someone who enjoys clear communication, following things through, and doing the basics well. It's steady, people-focused work where consistency really matters, and you're comfortable taking ownership in a small team.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify potential companies and contacts.
Reach out to prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
Start and manage initial conversations with potential partners.
Qualify leads before passing them to the senior sales team.
Book introductory calls and support handover where needed.
Keep CRM records accurate and up to date.
Follow up on conversations to ensure nothing is missed.
Support the senior sales team with basic admin, proposals, or follow-up where required.
Share simple market feedback, such as common questions or competitor mentions.
What We're Looking For
Some experience in a sales, business development, or commercial support role (preferred)
Clear and professional communication skills.
Good organisation and time management.
Comfortable using CRM systems and basic reporting tools.
A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
