The Role
This is a newly created position and represents FixAble's first dedicated sales hire.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving subscription sales directly to consumers, managing both inbound enquiries and proactive outbound activity. You will play a key role in establishing and shaping FixAble's sales processes, messaging, and approach as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
Sell FixAble's subscription services end-to-end to homeowners and landlords
Manage inbound enquiries and convert warm leads into active subscribers
Proactively generate new business through targeted and creative outbound outreach
Represent FixAble at local events, pop-ups, partnership meetings, and networking opportunities
Build and manage customer relationships from initial contact through to sign-up
Clearly communicate the benefits of subscription-based home maintenance
Accurately track leads, activity, follow-ups, and conversions using the CRM system
Nurture prospective customers who are not ready to commit immediately
Provide customer insights and feedback to inform messaging, pricing, and offers
Contribute to the development of sales processes, scripts, and best practices
Support corporate and B2B opportunities, including employee benefits and gifting initiatives
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a B2C sales role
Proven ability to communicate confidently with customers and close sales
Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset
Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage business environment
Familiarity with CRM systems or the ability to learn quickly
