About You




We're looking for an experienced Business Development Executive who thrives on starting conversations and opening doors. You will enjoy prospecting, qualifying opportunities and delivering high-quality opportunities for our sales team. You will have:


2+ years experience in a business development, sales development, or lead generation role within a business-to-business environment, ideally in SaaS or technology, with evidence of achieving or exceeding targets A proven track record of generating qualified leads and booking meaningful discovery meetings Confidence engaging decision-makers through outbound calls, email outreach, social media, and event follow-ups Strong questioning and listening skills, with the ability to quickly assess prospect needs, challenges, and fit A quality-focused mindset, understanding the difference between activity volume and valuable opportunities The ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and maintain consistent outreach activity Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with disciplined use of CRM systems Experience in the education or early years sector (advantageous but not essential)





About the Role




As our Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to support our sales growth. This role focuses exclusively on the early stages of the sales process, working closely with our Marking and Sales Executives. Your responsibilities will include:


Researching and identifying prospective customers within our target market Proactively generating new leads through outbound calls, email campaigns, social media, and event follow-ups Qualifying inbound and outbound leads to assess need, suitability, and readiness to engage Booking high-quality discovery meetings and product demonstrations for the Sales Executives Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all activity, lead status, and outcomes within the CRM Collaborating with Sales and Marketing to refine targeting, messaging, and lead qualification criteria Providing ongoing feedback on prospect responses, objections, and market insights Consistently achieving agreed activity levels and meeting-booked targets, directly contributing to revenue growth

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys opening doors, values quality conversations, and wants to play a critical role in driving sales performance, with clear progression opportunities as the company continues to expand.


Basic salary range is 28-34k plus OTE commission earnings.





Recruitment Process




Our recruitment process comprises three stages:

Stage 2: Successful applicants will be contacted for a short telephone interview


Stage 3: Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a face-to-face interview


If successful, you will receive an offer letter and upon starting receive comprehensive on-the-job training.
