Responsibilities
Identify and explore new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation.
Assist in preparing tailored proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
Support the management of the sales process--from initial enquiry to successful onboarding--ensuring a positive client experience.
Maintain accurate records of contacts, activities, and progress using Salesforce and other CRM tools.
Contribute to marketing initiatives that align with client needs and current market trends.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to support ongoing growth.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to help identify new opportunities.
Prepare updates on sales activity, pipeline progress, and development initiatives for senior management.
Qualifications & Attributes
Some experience in business development, sales, or a related area is helpful, but not essential--training and support will be provided.
Confidence using CRM platforms (Salesforce experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and understand client needs.
Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Proactive, motivated, and comfortable working towards goals and growth targets.
Experience or interest in the building services/FM sector is advantageous, as is marketing experience.
