About the role

Targeting the Scotland market within our Business Development Team, you will be key to delivering the next stage of the Hyperoptic fibre network across the UK. You will be engaging with sites directly and with property stakeholders to identify new business development opportunities so that Hyperoptic can be delivered to more homes in the area.

Your success will me measured by the number of wayleaves you secure as well as Identifying and selling into new sales opportunities, resulting in increased connections and revenue and subsequently striving to achieve and surpass your units signed target.

What will you be doing?

  • Identifying target sites and engaging directly with Property Stakeholders and Owners, Building Managers as well as residents of multi dwelling properties.
  • Proactively building and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Consistently hitting sales targets set per quarter.
  • Build and manage a network of relationships to ease new business development.
  • Identify and leverage internal relationships.
  • Communicating with all levels from Caretakers, Concierges, Property Manager, residents asscoiations, residents & freeholder
  • Providing regular reporting on progress to management as required. Responsible for managing workflow and projects through our CRM.
  • Establish and build good working relationships within internal stakeholders to aid successful deployment of sites.
  • Coordinating functions to ensure single client facing interface (where necessary and desirable).
What we are looking for:
  • Business development experience
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Emerging knowledge of vertical market/sector
  • Competent knowledge of sales process
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Some prior telecommunications experience - Desirable
