Are you a confident communicator with a passion for sales and relationship building? We're looking for a motivated Telemarketer to join our Business Development team and help expand apprenticeship opportunities across the Tech and Digital sectors.

In this role, you'll:

Make outbound calls to engage with local employers Generate and qualify new leads to build a strong pipeline Book appointments and secure interest from businesses looking to recruit apprentices Consistently hit and exceed your KPIs

Salary:

24,000 - 27,000 (pro rata if part-time) + bonus scheme

Hours:

Up to 37.5 per week (full-time). Part-time hours will be considered as long as the core hours of between 10.00 - 15.00 are covered as a minimum each weekday.

Overview of Role:

Achieve and exceed KPI targets by engaging with businesses through proactive outbound calling to identify and generate opportunities within the local employer market.

As a Business Development Executive Telemarketer, you will play a key role in expanding apprenticeship provision by initiating contact with potential employers, building relationships over the phone, and securing interest from businesses looking to recruit an apprentice. You will be responsible for driving growth across the Tech and Digital sectors by booking appointments for the wider Engagement team, ensuring that employer needs are captured effectively and aligned with suitable apprenticeship opportunities.

Core Responsibilities (Right Seat):



Conduct outbound calls to prospective learners and employers to promote apprenticeship programmes. Explain apprenticeship offerings, eligibility, and benefits clearly and persuasively. Follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns, events, and referrals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system. Respond to inbound enquiries in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with the Engagement and Customer Experience teams to support learner onboarding. Schedule appointments or information sessions for interested parties. Provide feedback to the Marketing team on campaign effectiveness and lead quality. Ensure quality and accuracy in the completion of required documentation, processes and systems. Any other duties as directed by your line manager and/or a Director. Ensure compliance with all TDM policies, procedures and legal responsibilities, including safeguarding, ISO9001, Confidentiality, Data Protection and Cyber Essentials.

Ideal Candidate:



Experience in successfully delivering against a telesales role. Experience working within the apprenticeship sector. A history of converting calls into appointments. A history of B2B sales experience. An individual who has a passion for working with and fostering relationships with employers, stakeholders and learners. Excellent organisation and attention to detail skills. General IT Skills (Excel, Word, updating a CRM system etc). The ability to deliver against TDM values and communicate with individuals from various backgrounds. The ability to adapt to changing legislation, multi-task and use a variety of systems as required. Ideally has a full, clean driving licence, access to a vehicle and a willingness to travel as and when required.
