The Role


We are seeking a motivated and commercially astute Business Development Executive to grow our footprint within the insurance sector. Your role will be to engage with insurance brokers, MGAs, and insurers, demonstrating the value of Proova's solution and building trusted, long-term partnerships.

This is a client-facing sales role requiring a solid understanding of how insurance businesses operate, from distribution through to claims, and the ability to translate product benefits into tangible business outcomes for our partners.

Key Responsibilities



Prospect, qualify, and build relationships with insurance brokers, MGAs, and insurers. Conduct consultative sales conversations, identifying client needs and aligning them with Proova's application. Deliver demos, presentations, and pitches to decision makers across underwriting, broking, and operations. Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from initial approach through to close and onboarding. Work closely with the leadership and product teams to feed back market insights and client requirements. Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

About You



Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the insurance sector. Strong network of insurance industry contacts (brokers, MGAs, insurers) highly desirable. Deep understanding of the insurance distribution model and current market challenges. Comfortable engaging with C-suite, senior brokers, and operational leaders. Consultative sales style - able to uncover needs, present value, and overcome objections. Driven, ambitious, and resilient with a results-focused mindset. Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills.

Package



Basic salary: 25,000-30,000 depending on experience. Uncapped commission scheme with realistic on-target earnings of 80,000+. Hybrid / remote working with flexibility. Career progression in a fast-growing InsurTech company.
