About the Role
UltraLEDs are a leading B2B supplier of high-quality LED lighting solutions based in Trafford Park, Manchester. Known for our innovation, attention to detail and exceptional customer service, we support clients across a wide variety of industries. Our approach is simple: common sense, speed of response and always putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.
We are looking for a proactive, results-driven Business Development Executive to accelerate the growth of our B2B sales pipeline. You will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, engaging early-stage prospects and generating interest in our industry-leading LED lighting solutions. Acting as a vital link between marketing and the sales team, you will convert interest into high-quality, qualified opportunities.
Ideally, you will have experience in outbound prospecting and B2B customer engagement, experience within the lighting industry is beneficial but not essential.

Key Responsibilities
Hunting for new business by conducting targeted outbound campaigns via phone, email and LinkedIn
Research companies and decision-makers to identify opportunities and align customer needs with our solutions
Qualifying inbound leads through discovery calls and distributing the leads to our account managers
Maintain accurate records of prospecting activity and lead status
Collaborate closely with Account Managers and Marketing to optimise conversion rates
Represent the company at trade shows, networking events and virtual meetings to generate opportunities
Provide regular feedback to the commercial team on lead quality, market trends and campaign performance.
About You
Proven experience in business development, sales or lead generation (B2B preferred).
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and listening skills
Self-motivated and target-driven, with a track record of achieving outbound KPIs
Able to quickly understand technical product features and match them to customer requirements
Approaches tasks with enthusiasm and a strong can-do mindset
